City of Charlotte Small Business Recovery Task Force
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Charlotte Mayor Vi Lyles created the Community Recovery Task Force to support families and businesses through the various recovery phases. The task force has focused their work on three high-impact areas: Small Business, Housing and the Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
The Small Business Task Force Group has worked to assess the local economic and safety impacts faced by small business owners in the wake of COVID-19, and identify solutions to meet the immediate and long-term needs of the small business community. The task force group consists of four council members and eight community members from various sectors.
